The ideal "barefoot environment"!

The mild weather and sunshine make it easy to decide to go for a hike. But as the temperature outside continues to rise, the body's metabolic activities also increase. The body has to expend energy simply to regulate its own temperature. And the foot has a particularly hard time regulating its temperature because it's enclosed in a hiking shoe.
